I haven't blogged much this week. As basically I've been busy with uni work or too tired to feel like doing it. But I have eventually got round to it, and today I feel like I wanna reflect on my life a bit (so if that prospect bores you, bail out now lol).
Tuesday I had Uni. I had four hours of practicals. And I kept getting answers right, I was well proud of myself. The lecturer told me to stop answering hehe! It was fun getting to work with Sarah (who has just been added to my friends on here whoopla!) and Mae a lot.
Wednesday was loads of meeting for me. Had a meeting with my study tutor Jackie. It looks like she is going to be able to help me a lot with my studies. Then I saw one of the lecturers at uni to go over my needs as a disabled student. Then I went into Bolton to a Leisure Group meeting. We are involved in a presentaion in November so it was largely about that. We are changing the direction of the group a bit and are renaming it Daybreak. I could go into it all, but I'm too tired lol. Was just me, Stephen and Ginny as everyone else was busy. Ooo and I bought the X-Men trilogy on DVD with my birthday money
So I have finally watched the last one, I hadn't seen it before.
Today I have had uni. Total waste of my morning as the librarian meant to be taking our sessions waited someone else for us. So we never got a session. I was in at 9am for no point. Vez was not impressed. Then I nipped to the gym and did 20 mins on the exercise bike, I apparantly burnt 170 calories. I shall slowly increase my time. 20 mins was enough for first time (my legs are currently starting to ache lol). Then it was back to uni for a tutorial. It was a real toughie and killed my brain completely!
My Mum met me from uni and came to mine for tea. Which was really nice, I have missed her. We had a good chin wag and stuff. And she brought my birthday presents over for me which was good. They are all unpacked and sorted now
She took my washing home, hehe. Yeh Vez and washing don't mix lol.
Today has given me a lot of food for thought. It's a year to the day since I was admitted to hospital. In one way, I have been thoughtful of bad memories of what happened (not that I have a lot really, I was pretty out of it). But I am trying to see it as a positive thing. That I have come so far in a year, and that I'm back at uni. I'm trying really hard to not think about the bad stuff.
Well it's getting late and I need some sleep soon. Night night xxxx
